Rack strips

Easy to use and install. All of these rack strips are dispatched and sold as pairs. Sizes given below are examples. We can supply from 1U to 8U in timber or 1U to 45U in steel at a pro rata price. We stock 7 different types of rack strips in steel and aluminium, also cage nuts, washers and bolts. Please contact us with your requirements.
Timber Rack Strips These superb quality, design registered, rack strips are constructed from solid hardwood timber and are supplied with a full set of M6 x 12mm mounting bolts.

Blank Panels

The 19" blank panels from Studioracks.co.uk are available in 1/2u,1u,2u,3u and 4u sizes. The vented panels are 1u or 2u. The steel panels are constructed from black powder coated steel. Manufactured from 1.2mm thick steel with the top and bottom of the panel returned to give a U shaped pressing which adds to the rigidity of the units.

ALUMINIUM Blank panels 1u and 2u with a Silver anodised finish are also available and in stock at the same prices as above! Just specify when ordering.

Please note*

The standard size for 1u is 19" x 1.75" /482.6mm x 44.4mm. A "U" is the size adopted by most manufacturers for outboard hardware equipment like compressors, noise gates effects processors. Rack Clamps / Shelf

The 19" Rack Clamp is designed for accommodating non standard equipment into your rack.This useful black pressed, powder coated steel accessory has two adjustable bands with detachable soft protective strips. To secure the equipment in place the adjustable bands sit on top of the equipment and bolted into position. The bands are adjustable both front to back and vertically.The depth of the shelf is 300mm. Available in 2U, 3U and 4U sizes.
The maximum width of equipment it can house is 432mm/ 17" The max height of equipment :
For a 2U clamp = 58mm For a 3U clamp = 102mm For a 4U clamp= 145mm

Nuts and Bolts
Machine screws for racks on this site. M5 for the metal frame racks M6 for the wooden/mdf racks. Please note cage nuts are not universal fitting.
